This was an uplifting story about resilience. The characters feel authentic, carrying the weight of their pasts while slowly learning to trust hope again. They prove it's never too late to change your course of life.
I appreciated how the emotional moments never felt forced. The way the author wrote made them unfold naturally and made the victories all the more satisfying.
Keesey writes with warmth and compassion, creating a heartfelt journey that lingers long after you are done reading.
